Central Registration: Begins February 1, 2010
Beginning February 1st, registration will now be in the administration building, located behind the middle school. This change will permit families to register in one location. To get to the administration building, enter the middle school parking lot and follow the driveway to the white house on the hill.
Community Bulletin Board: Effective February 3, 2010
The School District receives information from many community organizations for our families. Beginning on
February 3, 2010, the school district will begin posting all community announcements in PDF format on the District
website and will no longer send information home in paper format. The website link is http://www.sdst.org/forcommunity.php (click on Community Bulletin Board) or can be found by clicking on the For Community tab on the District’s home page, http://www.sdst.org. We will also add links on each school’s homepage for your convenience. The Community Bulletin Board on the website will be updated each Wednesday afternoon. This change will help us conserve paper and reduce the flow of unwanted paper into your home. All school district information will still come home in paper format.
Family Story Project
Participate in a 5 minute video that highlights your family story. Talk about your heritage and culture with me. Teachers and parents will take part in this video project which will then be made into a movie. Contact me to set up a time convenient for both of us at Maureen_Burke@sdst.org or call 215-233-6080, ext. 4046. Let us together showcase the rich diversity in the community.
